MALTA-Dolores
Ann Dibblee, 76, a retired waitress, died Friday, March 4, at
her home south of Malta from an apparent heart attack.Rosary will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, March 7 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Malta. Funeral Mass will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the church. Cremation will take place following the services. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Condolences for the family may be left at www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com. Kirkwood Funeral home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
Dolores was born November 22, 1934 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota the daughter of Nicholas and Marie Ann (Sands) Bondgien. She graduated from the Sauk Rapids High School in 1952. She and Ivan G. Dibblee were married on October 13, 1953. They moved to Havre in 1959 while Ivan was employed with the Great Northern Railroad.
Dolores was employed with the Stockman’s Café in Havre for a number of years and settling with Andy’s Supper Club until her retirement after 30 years of services. She enjoyed collecting Dolls and Antiques. She was an avid fisherman and gardener, and excellent cook and house keeper. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was a loving Mother to all who dropped by her kitchen. We have all been blessed by her love and will miss her very much. She was a beloved member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband Ivan of Malta, sons, Jeff (Tammie), Randi (Marsha), Mark (Carrine) all of Havre, Michael (Lorna) of Virginia; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.
