MALTA-Robert Evan “Bo” Humphreys, age 56, died July 17th, 2010 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, MT, after a brief illness.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm Thursday, July 22nd, at Kirkwood Funeral Home in Malta. Cremation has taken place. Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left at www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.
He is survived by his love, ZoeAnn Humphreys, his daughter Bobbie Sue, his grandson Skyler, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law: Mike and Joyce Harding of Great Falls, Bruce and Linda Harding of Great Falls, brother-in-law Rudy Solis of Malta, and sisters-in-law Cindy Murphy of Hinsdale and Kathy Nelson of Billings, He will never be forgotten by his “favorite” nieces and nephews: Sandy, Cheryl, Kathy, Kim, Jason, Kellie, Krista, Kaycie, Barbie, Wesley, Trent, Ryan, DJ and Jillian. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Robbie Robinson, an infant brother Donald, his brother Tom Robinson, his sister Susan Solis, and his brother Robert “Murph” Murphy.
Bo was born July 24th, 1953 to Barbara and Edmund Humphreys. He was raised and educated in Malta. By trade, he was a butcher, a bartender, a psychologist, and a comic. He spent his favorite years owning the family business, the Mint Bar, in Malta.
He married ZoeAnn Olson on February 14th, 1989. From this union, the light of his life, Bobbie Sue, was born. His life was brightened even more with the birth of his grandchild, Skyler Brandon, in 2006.
“Bimbo” was by far one of the most charismatic, sarcastic, and fun-loving souls one could ever hope to meet, and all that knew him are grateful. He loved laughter and music, his family and friends, and he lived his best life in the moment. He had that “Humphreys Charisma”, and could make a friend anywhere he went. Above all, Bo knew how to love and to laugh and he taught us all how to do that with him every chance that he could.
