
MALTA-Dale
Henry Driver, 81, a farmer/rancher died Wednesday, January 20, 2009 at
Billings of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the
Kirkwood Memorial Chapel in Malta. Interment will be in the Malta
Cemetery. Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors
include his brother, Horace Driver of Bigfork, two nieces, Cheryl (Mike)
Lenox-Reece of Billings, Debra (Mark) Gage of Conrad, step-children,
Sandy (Keith) Nelson of Malta, Bonnie (Gene) Smith of Roseburg, Oregon;
Tom Martin of Malta, Dan (Katherine) Martin of Seeley Lake, Alvin (Vonnetta)
Smith of Winnemucca, Nevada; great nieces and nephew Kelsie, Nathan,
Alex and several step-grandchildren.
Dale was born March 12, 1928 in Malta, the son of William H. and
Margaret (Jurgens) Driver. He was raised on a ranch in the Bennett Lake
area South of Malta and then on the family ranch West of Malta. He
graduated from Malta High School in 1946. Dale has worked the family
ranch raising cattle his entire life. He was always willing to help his
neighbors when they needed him. He married Emma Martin on January 17,
1977 in Malta, she died July 5, 2005. Dale could be found playing his
guitar or fiddle for country dances, the nursing homes, or just jamming
with other musicians. He went swimming every Wednesday morning the Saco
Hot Springs. Besides playing his guitar and fiddle he also played an old
button accordion. He also loved fishing in the summer
