WORDEN-Former Malta resident, Bryan W. Weber, 52, a law enforcement officer, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings from cancer.
Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 31, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Malta. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. A luncheon will follow the services in the church basement. Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left at

Survivors include his children, J.D. (Tabitha) Weber of Huntley, Katie Weber of Colorado Springs; brother, Dennis Walosz of Foley, Alabama; sisters, Karyn Siegrist of Durango, Colorado, Barbie Ellmann of West Salem, Wisconsin; granddaughter, Izzabella Weber of Huntley.
Bryan Wayne Weber was born February 16, 1958 in Woodruff Wisconsin, the son of Wayne and Edna (Clark) Weber. He was raised and educated in Woodruff. In 1975 he moved to Philips County to work for the John Matovich Ranch. He started his law enforcement career after he left the ranch. He married Marcia Nevrivy on October 25, 1980, and they later divorced. He went to work for the KN Energy for a few years and then returned to law enforcement. He worked for the Phillips County Sheriffs Department until moving to Alaska in 2002 to work for the State Corrections Department. Bryan moved back to Montana in January of this year to be closer to his family. He was a noted taxidermist and wood worker. Bryan loved to fish and was the 1988 winner of the Governors Cup.
