Rose Steward, 53, a homemaker and CNA, passed away Sunday, November 8,
in an automobile accident near
Saco
.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Kirkwood
Memorial Chapel in
Malta
. Pastor Greg Peterson of the
New Hope
Baptist
Church
will be officiating. Cremation will follow the services at the Hi-Line
Crematory. Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of

Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Bargo of Dayton, Ohio, Melissa
Rose Carter of Kingman, Arizona, Jamie Miramon, Tena Steward both of
Malta; brothers, Donald Bohannon, Michael Bohannon, Beacher Bohannon;
sisters, Laurie Baily, Tena Baily all of Dayton, Ohio; former husband
and close friend, Mike Steward of Kingman, Arizona; 12 grandchildren,
Mariah, Correna, Jayden, Todd, Jonathon, Nathaniel, Isaac, Sage,
Justice, Trinity, Kable, and Allison.
Rose was born October 9, 1956 in
Dayton
,
Ohio
, the daughter of Burle and
Roselle
(Henry) Bohannon. She was raised and educated in
Dayton
. She married Mike Steward on December 27, 1977 in
Dayton
and were later divorced. They lived all over southern
Ohio
until moving to
Kingman
,
Arizona
in 1993. Rose worked as a CNA for different nursing homes and was a care
giver for her family all the time. She moved to
Malta
in 2007 to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. Her family was
always the most important part of her life, and being with her
grandchildren was the best part. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
Rose was a free spirit with strong love and compassion for all who
crossed her path.
