MALTA-Larry
R. Peigneux, 54, a farmer, rancher, died Monday, July 6, 2009, at a
local nursing home from complications of Multiple Sclerosis.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 9, at the Kirkwood
Memorial Chapel in
Malta
. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at a later date. Kirkwood
Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his sons, Randy Peigneux and Bret Peigneux, ex-wife
Mary E. Peigneux, all of
Malta
; brothers, Joe (
Marion
) Peigneux, Ed (Debbie) Peigneux of Malta, Gene (Sherry) Peigneux of
Billings; sisters, Eileen Orcutt of
Ft. Collins
,
Colo.
, Joanne Cebulski of
Malta
. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph on March 28, 2001 and
Ethel on June 2, 2009.
Larry was born October 16, 1954 in
Malta
. He was raised on the family farm and was educated in
Malta
, graduating from
Malta
High School
in 1972. He worked as a mechanic for different garages and received his
pilot’s license on Feb. 26, 1976. Larry returned to the farm in 1977.
He married Mary E. Brown on Oct. 13, 1979 in
Malta
. They ranched and farmed South of Malta. Larry enjoyed hunting,
fishing, watching NASCAR and flying. He taught shooting sports for many
years and served on the Second Creek School Board.
