. Palmer worked at a number of jobs in
Malta
before beginning a 22-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring
in 1979.
Palmer married Mildred White, August 5th, 1978. They enjoyed 30
years of marriage together while serving the Lord spreading the gospel
through Child Evangelism Fellowship. Palmer believed that God's
vision for his life was to bring everyone he could to faith in
Christ. He is remembered most for the Morning Cheer boxes that he
and Mildred maintained around
Malta
, but Palmer is also remembered for bringing the gospel to rural parts
of the county through music, movies, and his homemade highway
signs. Palmer loved and served God, was a faithful and loving
husband, and died knowing that God had a place in heaven for him. His
question to you would be, "Do you know Jesus Christ as Saviour
so you can join me in heaven?"
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonas and Malmfrid, and
brothers, Paul and Harold.
